Ingredients:
1/2 cauliflower head
2-3 carrots
30g margarine
30g flour
1/2 pint milk
nutmeg, pepper
paprika
grated cheese
Cooking instructions
Cut cauliflower and carrots into chunks and microwave until tender. Make a white sauce: melt margarine, stir in flour, add milk. Whisk until smooth and thick, and season with pepper and nutmeg. Put veges in ovenproof dish, pour over sauce, top with cheese and sprinkling of paprika. Brown under grill.

Vary by adding other veges: some broccoli added in is good.
