Ingredients:
Rolled otes 2 cups
Flour 2 cups
Sugar 2 cups
Coconut, grated or flaked 1 1/2 cups
Bicarbonate soda 1 tsp
Butter, unsalted 250 gram
Syrup, Lyle´s golden 1 tbl
Honey 1/4 cup
Boiling water 1/3 cup
Cooking instructions
Combine oats, sifted flour, sugar & coconut in a large bowl;
mix well.

Place butter honey and treacle in a medium pan; stir over low
heat until the butter is melted. Combine soda and boiling
water in a small jug; pour into butter mixture.

Stir warm butter mixture into dry ingredients; mix well.
Spoon heaped tsp of mixture about 3cms apart, onto
greased oven trays; press down lightly. Cook in a slow over,
150 degrees C for about 20 mins or until golden brown. Stand
biscuits on trays for 5 mins; transfer to wire racks to cool.
